Data Engineer Intern
JOB SUMMARY:
The Data Engineer Intern works within the Development group and is involved in all stages of the stakeholder’s development lifecycle and will become experienced giving presentations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design and build SQL Server Databases used to collect customer data.
· Perform data cleaning, formatting, transformation
· Manage existing databases, create stored procedures, views to cater to stakeholder’s requests
· Commit ETL processes between SQL Server Database into Power BI
· Monitor and Maintain data pipelines/dataflows to ensure high service availability
· Utilize Power BI to develop data visualizations for applications and reporting from the SQL Server Database.
· Provide stakeholders reporting and analytics including machine learning, AI, data forecasting, etc. in a transparent and timely manner
· Help facilitate data to those within the company who could benefit in an efficient and productive manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently a rising senior pursuing a BS or BA in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Informatics, Data Science, or related field)
• Experience in Data Management and/or Visualization
• Familiarity with ELT tools
• Proficient in SQL, Python, R, Java, C#, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff members at all levels of the organization.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• A passion to serve the customer by learning how to communicate complex ideas and solutions to their business challenges
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Must be able to work independently with sustained concentration.

Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
