Qorvo’s Research Scientist Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Work with the material team in the hands-on development of epitaxy growth of III-Nitrides using MOCVDF and MBE.
- Hands-on characterization of advanced semiconductor materials.
- Data generate and analysis
- Documentation and presentation of the results to the team.
Qualifications:
- Candidate shall be currently enrolled in an accredited program seeking a PhD in Material Sciences Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Physics.
- Experience with epitaxy growth techniques such as: MOCVD and/or MBE.
- Experience with materials characterization techniques such as: X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, and Hall and C-V etc.
- Strong analytical thinker
- Has an open mind
- Great collaborator
- Solid communication skills written and oral
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr-$42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
