The Role: Science Research Intern
InsideTracker is seeking a science research intern to join our team of highly skilled scientists and be a key contributor to our animal nutrition solution (Verax). Reporting to one of our scientists, you will be providing support to the Verax science team through scientific literature research. You will curate relative scientific literature for multiple species with a focus on poultry and swine into a usable format for the Verax application. The scientific literature research will be both targeted and/or broad searches based on the current needs of the Verax science team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform targeted literature searches instructed by the Verax science team
- Curate scientific literature into a format usable for the Verax application
- Maintain appropriate documentation of completed research
- Stay up to date on current farm animal research
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, MS or PhD in animal science, biology or related discipline
- Ability to read, analyze and translate research studies and navigate appropriate databases (Pubmed, Google Scholar, other databases)
- Ability to summarize and communicate scientific conclusions in writing
- Detail oriented, proud of your work and delivers your tasks on time

Location: Cambridge, MA, USA (remote)
Duration: Part-time
Hours: ~15 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
