About the Position:

Under the general direction of the Building CA Program Manager, a Staff Services Manager III (SSM III) and the Building CA Program Coordinator, a Staff Services Manager II (SSM II), the Building CA Program Specialist, Research Data Specialist II (RDS II) will ensure accurate data submission for the infrastructure project website (buildingca.ca.gov) in support of Senate Bill (SB) 1 funding programs and Assembly Bill (AB) 2086 requirements. Responsibilities include collecting, validating, and transforming data for map updates, performing complex analyses using business intelligence software, and creating new data models and visualizations to meet evolving information needs. The RDS II will manage and coordinate complex research projects, forecast trends, and assess potential impacts in areas with limited existing knowledge.
