Real Estate Asset Management Intern

Position: Intern

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement business processes
  • Assist with the maintenance of complete books and records.
  • Support rent collection and invoice payments.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and CAM reconciliations.
  • Help manage cash distributions.
  • Monitor loan covenants and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in lease administration and property valuations.
  • Conduct market analysis and support transaction due diligence.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections.
  • Aid in the preparation of customizable monthly/quarterly investor reports.
  • Provide support in portfolio accounting and tax compliance.
  • Maintain online 24/7 access to all property documentation and records.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
