
Digital Storytelling Intern
This intern will drive WTPR’s digital storytelling, content creation, and media outreach. They will design and manage social media campaigns, create newsletters, and produce graphics and short videos that amplify the movement’s voice. (Pays $500 per semester)
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Engagement: Schedule and manage posts; monitor engagement; respond to comments.
Content Creation: Write blogs, newsletters, and highlight stories from the WTPR community.
Graphic/Video Production: Design campaign visuals, short-form videos, and shareable graphics.
Analytics & Strategy: Track engagement metrics and recommend adjustments.
Expected Time Commitment
10–12 hours/week (flexible, hybrid or remote)
Weekly team check-in + independent project hours
Focus: Social media, content creation, graphics/video production
Timeline
Weeks 1–2: Onboarding; review brand voice/style guide; set up content calendar.
Weeks 3–6: Launch consistent posting (3–5 posts/week); create visuals for fundraising campaign; draft newsletter support content.
Weeks 7–10: Develop short-form videos (2+); run social media campaign tied to fundraising/community building.
Weeks 11–13: Conduct analytics review; refine strategy; highlight grassroots stories.
Week 14: Showcase portfolio of posts, graphics, blogs, and videos.
