Social Media Internship

About Hormbles Chormbles

We are a protein candy brand rewriting the rules of sweet treats - a protein chocolate with 0g sugar, 10g of protein, and only 100 calories. Founded by the creator of RXBAR, Hormbles Chormbles launched this year with one goal: make chocolate make sense again. We're building a brand that doesn't take itself too seriously but cares deeply about creativity, culture, and the internet.

 

Internship Overview

This internship is an opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media strategy, video production, and performance analytics – all while working directly with a startup founder and brand team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment where humor, weirdness, and storytelling come together.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and more
  • Support the development of content – including on-camera work, voiceovers, and behind-the-scenes stories
  • Track content performance across platforms and analyze ROI through reach, engagement, and conversion metrics
  • Assist with scheduling, asset management, and organization of content calendars
  • Stay up to date on social media trends and propose creative, on-brand concepts
  • Help maintain the Hormbles Chormbles tone and voice across all digital content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the creative and marketing teams

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Current undergraduate student eligible for college credit (Note: student must consult their advisor to make sure they are eligible for academic credit with this internship) If student is not eligible for college credit, then the internship can be a paid one.
  • Studying communications, media, marketing, film, or a related field
  • Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube from a creator or strategist lens
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in data and content performance
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
  • Bonus: A love for candy, memes, and unhinged-but-clever branding
