Role Overview:
The Business Operations & Strategy Analyst is a critical member of our team, driving efficiency, scalability, and financial discipline across the business. This role combines finance, operations, and systems-thinking to ensure Yaza is positioned for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Analysis
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Track and analyze key business metrics (sales, trade spend, margins, logistics costs).
- Build dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven decisions.

Operational Strategy
- Partner with founders to design and implement scalable systems and processes.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency across supply chain, logistics, and inventory.
- Manage cross-functional projects that connect finance, sales, and operations.

Systems & Tools
- Own and optimize internal systems (ERP, CRM, analytics dashboards, etc.).
- Ensure clean data management and reporting consistency across departments.
- Train team members on system best practices.

Execution & Leadership
- Support negotiations with vendors, distributors, and service providers.
- Assist in trade show and retail execution planning from a systems/ops perspective.
- Act as a bridge between finance, sales, and operations teams to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Excel, Quickbooks and AI automation softwares
- Excellent communicator and natural systems thinker.
- Comfortable in a startup environment — proactive, adaptable, and hands-on.
