Social Video Editor

Pursuit Digital is hiring a full-time Social Video Editor to join our growing production team. If you’re ready to step into a role where your editing skills matter and your work gets seen every week, this is the position for you.

You’ll work directly under our Director of Production, editing high-quality social content for actual brands. You’ll cut projects that go live on TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, helping serious businesses show up online with excellence. Most of your time will be editing, with the occasional opportunity to join us on set and see how it all comes together.

This isn’t a grunt-work role. You’ll be trusted with real edits that get published, not just filler or portfolio fluff. As Pursuit grows, this role has plenty of room to expand, giving you the chance to sharpen your skills and take on more responsibility over time.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) for client brands.
• Shape pacing, captions, and hooks that make content engaging.
• Occasionally edit longer projects like testimonials or highlight reels.
• Support on shoots from time to time, assisting with gear or b-roll.
• Deliver polished edits that meet Pursuit’s standard of quality and consistency.

What It Takes:

• Proficient in video editing (DaVinci Resolve is what we use).
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and captions for short-form video.

• Must live in or near Knoxville year-round (this is an in-person role).

The Details:

• This is a full-time, salaried position requiring 40+ hours per week.
• Pay starts at $42,000 with opportunities for bonuses.
• Three weeks PTO (15 days) plus 10 paid holidays.
• Annual company bonus.
