Full-time or Part-time Speech Language Pathologist
First Step Therapy is currently seeking an SLP to join our growing multidisciplinary team treating clients with a variety of diagnoses ranging from age 0-21 years old.
We provide services in schools, daycares, ABA centers, and homes. First Step Therapy believes in therapist autonomy and allows providers to choose the setting(s) that best align with their skill set.
W2 and 1099 positions available

Job Summary
Speech language pathologists develop and carry out a treatment plan for each patient. Pathologists work with patients who have developmental delays, teaching them functional communication skills. Speech language pathologists monitor, document, and review progress throughout the treatment period. Pathologists collaborate with speech-language assistants providing feedback and supervision throughout the treatment period.
Job Requirements
- Master’s of Science Degree in Communication Disorders
- Valid Florida SLP License
- Level II fingerprinting background
- Driver’s License
- Professional Liability Insurance
Qualifications
- Ability to assist patients in acquiring communication skills
- 1 year pediatric experience (preferred)
- 1 year feeding experience (preferred)
- AAC experience (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Provide speech services (treatment) to the patients
- Creating treatment plan in collaboration with speech language assistant
- Caregiver education
