Marketing Intern
About the Role
We’re looking for a part-time Marketing Intern to join our team for the fall and spring semesters. This is a paid internship, ideal for a student or emerging professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment that supports the growth of innovative software companies. The tentative duration would be from October 2025 through March 2026, with the potential to extend based on business needs.
Hours & Location
- 10–20 hours/week, depending on needs and availability
- 75% Remote, 25% in office (HQ in Broad Ripple)
What You’ll Do
You’ll work directly with our Director of Marketing on a range of projects that support our brand and business development goals. Depending on your interests and strengths, your responsibilities may include:
- Creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social platforms
- Drafting blog posts or articles that reflect our voice and expertise
- Helping maintain and update the Innovatemap website, no coding required but experience with Webflow a plus
- Supporting events that amplify our team and partnerships
- Design support for promotional assets, event collateral, presentations, webinars, etc.
Who You Are
You might be a good fit if you’re:
- A strong writer with a knack for simplifying ideas and telling compelling stories
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and curious about how agencies work
- Interested in tech, startups, or digital products
- Proactive, thoughtful, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working independently, but not afraid to ask questions
Bonus points if you’ve got experience in:
- Social media management
- Canva and/or Figma design tools
- Web platforms like Webflow
- Event planning or coordination
