React Native Software Engineer

GenWell is an early stage startup looking for a wildly talented React native software engineer to join our early team. GenWell is focused on fighting online health misinformation that impacts genz and millennials on social media by developing social media meets marketplace platform exclusively for credible health discovery. We are supported and backed by Johns Hopkins Medicine and are part of their accelerator Fall '25.

This position is low comp + equity to start, and salary will be increased after we close our first funding round. We are looking for a candidate obsessed with our mission and ready to be part of a promising early team for the long run. 

The product you'll be building:
The MVP of a mobile application (built using react native) akin to social media, but it only hosts profiles/content of our verified sources. (Think instagram but only health content) 

Required skills:
started a react native experience from scratch 
expo experience
calling / working with AI 
familiar with video and social media 
video codeX  - nice to have
Design system experienced preferred
