Project Associate/Technical Note Taker
Yudrio is seeking a Technical Note Taker to join our team in supporting an existing project with a federal client. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive resource to support our project teams by accurately capturing and maintaining critical project documentation. This role will be responsible for attending meetings, documenting discussions and decisions, and updating project tracking tools to ensure all stakeholders have access to accurate, current information. The ideal candidate will be skilled at identifying relevant details, organizing information clearly, and maintaining consistency across multiple project logs and documents.
Security Requirements
- Ability to pass federal background investigation including a 7-year review of criminal, residential, and financial history.
Place of Performance
- Washington, DC (hybrid, 3x weekly on-site requirement)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven experience in notetaking, meeting minutes, or project documentation (experience in a technical or project management environment preferred).
- Strong listening, comprehension, and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to quickly identify and extract key points from technical and non-technical discussions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
- environment.
- Interest in learning and understanding project processes, terminology, and workflows.
Role Responsibilities
- Attend project and team meetings to capture detailed, accurate notes, focusing on decisions, action items, and next steps.
- Maintain and update the Change Control Log and Decision Log to ensure they reflect the most current project status.
- Identify and document critical project details, including timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
- Update other project tracking documents and tools as directed by the project manager or team leads.
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and accessibility of all documentation for team members and stakeholders.
- Follow established documentation standards and naming conventions.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and technical staff to clarify meeting content and confirm the accuracy of recorded information.
