Special Systems Designer (multiple locations available)
Overall Responsibility
Arora’s Special Systems Practice is seeking motivated early-career professionals (0–5 years’ experience) with backgrounds in Computer Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering fields. This is a unique opportunity to launch your career in telecom, IT networks, wireless, security, and passenger systems consulting and design.
Essential Functions
- Assist with design and consulting services for telecom, IT, wireless, and security systems.
- Support development of Revit models, drawings, and technical documents.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and discipline leads on major aviation and facility projects.
- Learn how to design and integrate low-voltage, network, and passenger systems into complex facilities.
- Participate in QA/QC reviews and coordination meetings.
- Contribute to project delivery from design through construction support.
- Participates in project design meetings and coordination sessions
- Interfaces with consultants and vendors to confirm design requirements and technical details.
- Assists during bidding and construction phases, including review of shop drawings and RFIs.
Education/Experience Minimum
- Degree in Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology field.
- 0–5 years of relevant professional experience (internships/co-op experience welcomed).
- Basic familiarity with Revit and/or CAD.
- Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and interest in system design.
