Veridian Accountants & Advisors is currently seeking Tax Interns to join our firm for the Spring 2026 semester and future semesters! During your internship, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in multiple areas of public accounting, working on a wide range of projects while gaining valuable firm experience that will help prepare you for a future Staff Accountant position.

To be considered for a Spring 2026 internship, you must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week from January 13 – April 17, 2026.

Tax Intern responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of individual and business tax returns
  • Identification, research, and assessment of domestic and international tax matters
  • Participation in a variety of client engagements across different industries
  • Review and/or entry of client data
  • Researching business and industry trends to support proposals and recommendations
  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Account reconciliations

Qualifications

  • Junior, Senior, or Master’s student actively pursuing a BS/BA/master’s in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (in accounting courses)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel); familiarity with Visio or other flow chart software preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, follow through on tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Effective at conducting research and applying available resources
  • Able to clearly synthesize complex ideas into concise language
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
  • Openness to feedback and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals
