Student Tele-Counselor

BC student tele-counselors are responsible for calling and contacting prospective students who have demonstrated interest in BC. Some examples are: students who have scheduled a visit to campus or have applied to Bridgewater College. 

 

Main responsibilities are to pass along information about next steps for applications or visit information, while also answering their questions. As an admissions representative, tele-counselors must demonstrate and maintain professional workplace behavior, exceptional customer service, and confidentiality. 

 

Requirements

  • Be a current BC student in good academic standing.
  • Demonstrate dependability, hardworking, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Exhibit a positive, upbeat attitude and demonstrate proper telephone etiquette.
  • Reliable and attentive to details.
  • Able to work 4 hours per week in the evenings between the hours of 4-8 p.m.
  • Attend all training sessions.
