Software Development Mentor

Location: Remote (Global)
Commitment: Flexible / Part-time 

Role Overview

You’ll help guide developers working on apps like MoonLeaping, Gem Genius AI, and My First PC Build, offering expertise in coding, debugging, architecture, and best practices. You’ll serve as a professor/mentor to students and junior developers, offering structured learning pathways and hands-on coaching.

Responsibilities

Mentor aspiring developers in Kotlin, Swift, SwiftUI, React, and other modern frameworks.

Provide code reviews, feedback, and pair programming when needed.

Help design short “learning modules” or workshops for new contributors.

Support real-world project development and GitHub contributions.

Share industry best practices in agile, testing, and software design.

Qualifications

Professional experience in software engineering (mobile or full-stack).

Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, approachable way.

Comfortable mentoring students, early-career developers, or volunteers.

Familiarity with GitHub, agile methods, and modern coding standards.
