Preschool Aftercare Group Leader
The Ashford Rise Preschool of Dallas Group leader is responsible for the supervision and well-being of a group of assigned children ages 6 months to 6 years after school. The Ashford Rise School of Dallas at the Moody YMCA is an inclusive preschool school for children with and without learning/developmental disabilities.
Hours will be Monday-Friday 2 pm-5:30 pm when The Rise School is in session.
No weekends.
Candidates Requirements:
One year or more of experience working with children,
A high school diploma/equivalent
18 years or older
Preschool Aftercare Group leaders will follow an afterschool curriculum put in place by the Director and Afterschool coordinator that follows the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) Minimum Standards. They will also be required to pass a TDFPS Background Check. In this position, you will build relationships with parents, students, and your community as you engage kids while leading daily activities, keep them safe, and contribute to a high-quality After-care program.
Starting Pay $14-hr based on experience and education. We are hiring dynamic Youth Leaders for our Afterschool programs.
