Core Responsibilities:
- Curate rotating exhibits that showcase local talent and align with Gabriel’s Place values
- Manage artist outreach, artwork intake, and display logistics
- Host exhibit-related events and receptions
Daily Tasks:
- Communicate with artists about submissions, bios, and display needs
- Review artwork for condition, theme alignment, and presentation
Weekly Tasks:
- Draft exhibit descriptions and signage
- Coordinate installation and layout with site team
- Promote exhibits via flyers, social media, and email
Monthly Tasks:
- Plan upcoming exhibit themes and artist lineups
- Host opening receptions or artist talks
- Maintain inventory and condition reports for displayed works
