Substitute Teacher - Howard-Suamico School District
In the absence of the regular teacher, or working collaboratively to co-teach and provide instructional support to our students, this position provides quality instruction/supervision and maintains a classroom climate that will enable each student to master skills appropriate to his/her age, grade level, and individual capacity as well as to develop socially and emotionally.
Daily sub rate is $160.00, long-term assignments of six days consecutively or more are $190/day. Pay is reduced for less than full day assignments.

The District may also consider short-term substitute applicants with desired, relevant qualifications such as successful prior experience providing direct instruction to youth or community-based experience working with youth and their families. Excellent communication skills, demonstrated empathy and compassion, and knowledge of content are characteristics and skills necessary for potential successful employment with the District.
