Moving specialist
As a Mover with The Junk Jockey, you’ll be the backbone of our moving team. You’ll help customers reclaim their space by safely lifting, loading, and/or hauling away unwanted items, from furniture and appliances to construction debris and yard waste. This is a hands-on role where no two days are alike—you’ll be on the move, meeting new people, and making a visible impact every day.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load, unload, and transport items from homes, businesses, and job sites
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
- Navigate and operate company vehicles (training provided)
- Follow safety procedures and handle items with care
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, tools, and equipment
- Work efficiently with your team to complete jobs on time
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Team player with good communication skills
- Previous moving, junk removal, or general labor experience is a plus (but not required)
