Facilities Student Assistant

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, incumbent will provide support for the daily operational needs as they relate to the general upkeep of the School of Education (SOE). The incumbent will assist with coordinating moves; renovation projects; track and file work orders; ensure facilities are clean, orderly, and in optimal condition. Set-up and rearrange rooms for events; assist with key inventory and various other facilities related services in all five SOE locations. Assist with annual space inventory; maintain a comprehensive calendar of upcoming events, and provide general operational support as needed and requested by the Facilities Manager. Facilities include classrooms, faculty/staff/administrative offices, and all common areas.

 

Required skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and retain procedural information
• Work study preferred but not required.

Desired skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
