Micro-Intern: Product Design (IAP-Alumni Host)

We’re looking for a Product Design Intern to join our team for MIT’s January micro-internship program! You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to bring new ideas to life and create delightful user experiences.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with product and engineering to refine concepts and features
  • Create wireframes, visual mockups, and clickable prototypes
  • Conduct lightweight user research and share insights
  • Assist in refining design systems and component libraries

What we're looking for

  • Interest in product design, UX/UI, and human-centered thinking
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma or similar
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • A problem-solver who enjoys turning complex problems into simple, elegant solutions

The interview process:

  1. Intro: 30 min chat to dive into your background
  2. Design challenge: 30 min collaborative session on a design problem

Pay and logistics:

This position will be full-time (40 hours/week), paid $30/hour, and receive an additional $500 housing stipend. We require this position to be on-site 5 days a week at our Williamsburg, NY office.
