Content Media Intern

About the Role
Castix is an indie game studio developing a large-scale medieval fantasy MMORPG. We are seeking a Content Media Intern to help create engaging digital media for our social platforms and marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design who also enjoys collaborating with a creative team to bring ideas to life.

Responsibilities
As a Content Media Intern, you will:

• Create media assets for social platforms, including graphics, short-form videos, and animations tailored to audiences on TikTok, Instagram, Discord, Facebook, and Reddit.
• Collaborate with the content creation team by contributing ideas, brainstorming campaign concepts, and building upon team discussions.
• Support community engagement by producing visually compelling content that connects with our players.
• Monitor trends in social media and gaming content to inspire fresh approaches to video, motion, and design.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or obtained a secondary education degree (Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent) in a relevant field
• Proficiency with digital media tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar)
• Strong interest in video editing, motion graphics, or visual design
• Comfortable collaborating within a creative team and adapting to feedback
• Familiarity with content types and trends on TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
• Interest in gaming, particularly RPGs or fantasy, is a plus

Additional Information
This is an unpaid internship, but it may be eligible for course credit depending on the degree program. The internship is fully remote, and interns will need to use their own equipment. Interns will be provided a manager/mentor from a senior staff member. The intern will have flexible hours and may need to communicate with staff members across various time zones.
