Campus Representative Internship

Lead a group of students  to Ecuador & learn about bamboo architecture, regenerative agriculture and environmental action. Foster hands on learning experiences to inspire changes today. 

 

Job Description: Campus Representatives are liaisons and ambassadors between participating university students, professors/faculty, and RFI’s leadership. The Campus Rep conducts outreach, recruits a group of 15+ students for an experiential 8-day environmental program in the winter, spring or summer break programs. Programs include hands-on experience and instruction from experts in building bamboo and regenerative land management.

Contribute to projects in bamboo architecture and engineering, regenerative agriculture and restoration ecology

Collaborate with international environmentalists and faculty 

Explore the food, environment and language of coastal Ecuador

Learn within an eco-enterprise addressing root environmental challenges 

Work Requirements
8-10 hours weekly including weekly calls with program director, classroom announcements, postering, networking with faculty/student leaders and hosting interest meetings. This position is on-campus at your university and then in Ecuador during the 8 day program.

Qualifications

Interest in architecture, environmental sciences, engineering, global studies, entrepreneurship, or other relevant fields

Meticulous attention to detail, strong organization skills

Self-starter, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks

Strong writing and oral communication skills, comfortable speaking and presenting to large groups of people.

Ability to work in a team and independently

Mobilizers and community builders, ability to create connection among of a group of people.
