Account Receivable Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented candidate with excellent active listening skills and strong analytical skills to support and assist our Accounts Receivable Manager. The position is responsible for performing various routine and non-routine accounting activities. This includes performing accurate and timely collection calls, payment posting, chargeback research. Must be able to provide operational accounting support to internal departments, company subsidiaries and cross-functional groups. This position is on-site, no remote applicants will be considered.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to successfully perform the job, including but not limited to:

· Posting high volume cash receipts

· Oversee full collections of multiple division aging(s)

· Calling past due accounts

· Respond to customer inquiries and analyze history to resolve issues and discrepancies.

· Post Journal Entries.

· Maintain effective professionalism with internal and external departments.

· Miscellaneous tasks/projects as needed by management.

· Assist in training of new AR clerks.

· 3yr Experience in AR Supervisor/Lead/ or Assistant role preferred.
