We are currently searching for Structural Engineers!
You MUST be a US Citizen to be eligible.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide structural engineering services for new construction and rehabilitations on large, complex river navigation (locks and dams), flood control reservoir dams, local flood protection projects, recreational, vertical building, and waterfront type structures.
- Prepare design documentation reports, contract drawings, plans, specifications, modifications, operation/maintenance manuals, and appendices for feasibility reports and complete phases or for large portions of projects.
- Utilize various structural design and analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ANSYS, FB-MultiPier, PCA sP Concrete Suite, Revit Structures, Inventor, RISA, MathCAD, EXCEL and other structural software.
- Prepare construction contract documents for various structural features such gates, bulkheads, bridges, buildings, monoliths, retaining walls, superstructures, industrial facilities, locks and dams for challenging and complex projects.
- Work with CAD/BIM Modelers to develop drawings utilizing BIM software such as Revit/Inventor, 3D models, virtual reality models, and 3D prints to meet project customer needs.
- Provide structural engineering support during construction for contracts by reviewing transmittals, RFIs, site visits, and resolving construction field issues.
- Perform inspections and assessments of district’s infrastructure including hydraulic steel structures, concrete structures, and bridges; and develop memos and reports with recommendations based on field observations.
