As a Motz 365 Technician Intern, you’ll be maintaining and repairing synthetic fields and building futures alongside a dedicated team. Functions of the Job:
- Pulling up to 50 lbs to properly place panels of synthetic turf
- Kneeling/crawling/crouching to cut turf by hand in preparation for seaming
- Assist with all steps in Field Maintenance process (measuring, cutting, gluing, infilling, testing and job site cleanliness).
- Learn how to operate Gas and Diesel equipment as needed
- Occasional exposure to chemicals such as glue, sand and crumb rubber
- Work alongside like-minded individuals in team atmosphere unlike any other.
- Learn how to test and repair fields
Requirements:
- Reliable, honest, hardworking and motivated self starter
- Have the willingness to learn and to be coached.
- Able to work productively in a team environment
- Long hours working outdoors
- Constant exposure to weather and outdoor seasonal elements
- Reliable means of transportation to/from our shop in Newtown (driver’s license not required)
- Overnight travel and travel out of state may be required (hotel accommodations and daily food stipend provided)
- Able to pass drug screen and background check

- $60 travel per diem
