Personal Trainer

Hiring Personal Trainers responsible for designing and delivering safe, effective, and engaging fitness programs tailored to each clients goals, needs and abilities. This role involves coaching clients through workouts, providing education on exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle habits, and fostering a supportive and motivating environment. 

 

Key Responsibilites 

  • Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients health, body composition, strength, endurance, and flexibility.
  • Design individualized training programs based on client goals (e.g., weight loss, muscle gain, athletic performance, general health).
  • Lead one-on-one and small group training sessions with proper instruction, demonstration, and motivation. 
  • Monitor and correct client form and technique to ensure safety and effectiveness.
  • Track client progress and adjust training plans as needed. 
  • Educate clients on exercise principles, nutrition basics, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Provide encouragement, accountability, and support to enhance client success and retention.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment.
  • Stay current with fitness industry tends, certifications, and continuing education. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized organization (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA, BA in Exercise Science etc.).
  • CPA/AED and First Aid certified
  • Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, functional training, and injury prevention.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and motivational skills.
  • Ability to adapt workouts to different levels, ages, and limitations.
  • Professional, reliable, and passionate about helping others achieve their goals.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in nutrition coaching, corrective exercise, or athletic performance.
  • Group Fitness instruction background 
  • Sales & client relationship-building skills.

 

Work Environment 

  • One-on-One and small group training sessions in a private studio setting. (no big-box gym feel)
  • Flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends base on client needs.
