Position Overview:
Junson Capital is seeking highly motivated, intellectually curious individuals with strong academic track records and foundational finance exposure to join our team as Finance Interns. Our internship program provides the unique opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in finance and accounting within a dynamic, international business environment. As a Finance Intern, you will support the Finance Management Division (FMD) by assisting our finance team with a broad array of projects and tasks.
This role offers direct exposure to financial analysis and review, management reporting, budgeting, treasury operations, internal control processes, and third-party communication and restate asset management. Interns will collaborate with experienced professionals across the firm’s global offices, while developing both technical and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of legal entities’ financial statements, management reports, and supporting documentation.
- Support daily treasury operations, including banking KYC, reconciliations and system update.
- Support annual reconciliations for inter-company transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners, supporting communication and supervision of third-party service providers as necessary.
- Support year-end expense allocation processes.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Support Real Estate asset management activities, focusing on key financial functions and operational performance.
- Perform additional duties as necessary.
Program Duration: 3 - 6 Months
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or master’s (non-MBA) student at a reputable university.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and basic modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Relevant academic backgrounds preferred: finance, accounting, business, or economics.
- Native or business-level fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable.
- Interest in pursuing CPA or other professional finance qualifications is a plus.
- Collaborative, adaptable, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Prior internship or relevant extracurricular experience in accounting will be regarded favorably.
