H Foundation for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting contemporary art practices rooted in Asian and diasporic cultures. Through exhibitions, public programs, and creative collaborations, we foster cultural dialogue and engage with the complexities of identity, tradition, and transformation in today’s world.

Role Overview

We are seeking motivated and creative students to join our team as Creative & Social Media Assistants. This role is perfect for students who are passionate about art, culture, and digital storytelling, and who want to gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media strategy, and creative design.

Responsibilities

Create and manage content for social media platforms (Xiaohongshu, Instagram, WeChat, etc.)

Shoot and edit short videos and photos (CapCut required)

Assist with graphic design for posters, flyers, and digital campaigns

Support website updates and event promotion

Collaborate with team members on content ideas and storytelling strategies

Qualifications

Current student or recent graduate in Art, Design, Media, Communications, or related field

Strong interest in social media, art, and creative content

Skilled in CapCut for video editing; familiarity with Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools a plus

A team player with creativity, reliability, and attention to detail

Mandarin proficiency preferred
