Digital Arts and/or Animation Teacher

Glenview School of Arts is an art school that offers classes for children from grades K-12 and adults more than two decades. Illinois Board of Higher Education certified Art Teacher Training Program is offered for anyone over 18 with a high school diploma. 

Classes provide a fun and positive atmosphere for children to learn the basic principles and build a strong foundation in art. We also offer classes specifically built for high school AP art classes as well as a portfolio development program for high school students who are interested in pursuing art at higher levels. 

Job description:

-Teach Digital Art and/or Animation to a small group of students ages 7 to 13 years old. Instruct students to develop animation shorts using their own carefully illustrated fine art drawings.

-The ideal candidate should have a strong background in art, preferably with an in progress  Bachelor's in arts.

-Position requires experience with Photoshop Adobe Suit and Procreate/Procreate Dream Application 

-Candidate must enjoy working with children. Proper candidate will be trained. 

-Schedule-→ Wed: 4:00pm-6:00pm, Sat: 1:00pm-3:00pm for the school year
