
St. Louis Symphony Orchestra - Marketing Assistant
Description:
The Marketing Assistant will gain professional marketing/non-profit exposure and experience working with members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Marketing and Communications team. This position requires approximately 15-20 hours per week and may be scheduled around school requirements. Position reports to Associate Director, Digital Engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Website support including transfer of our production pages over to WordPress
- Social media support, including working on identifying and securing influencer partners
- Identify and strengthen relationships with local student communities, including engaging international and exchange students
- Support SLSO Partnership efforts by identifying and strengthening relationships with local student communities, including international and exchange students, faculty, student life offices, and cultural clubs.
- Gain hands-on experience in campus outreach, cultural community engagement, program development and arts marketing
Qualifications:
- Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the current academic year.
- Must be pursuing a degree in the fields of Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or Music
- Motivated individual with strong organizational, writing and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to attend occasional night and weekend events - Ability to work with confidential data
- Must represent the SLSO in a professional manner
