Senior Production Test Technician

The Senior Production Test Technician will be responsible for performing routine and varied tasks to ensure that production standards are met. Duties include setting up, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting production assemblies. Projects may range from simple to complex. Responsibilities include:

• Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
• Adjust and calibrate systems as needed.
• Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams.
• Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed.
• Use various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Test electronic and acoustic units using standard and custom test equipment, analyzing results to evaluate performance and determine necessary adjustments.
• Follow complex test specifications, test procedures, and verbal instructions to perform a variety of routine and standard tests.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams, hardware specifications, schematics, and written work instructions.
• Apply working knowledge of electronic theory and components.
• Troubleshoot and analyze failures using electronic test equipment and software, diagnosing deficiencies, and recommending rework when necessary.
