
Quoting Specialist
As a key member of the Customer Experience team, the Quoting Specialist is responsible for preparing, processing, and managing customer quotes and supporting all aspects of customer relations. This collaborative role serves as a central point of contact between internal teams, sales representatives, and customers to ensure accurate pricing, timely communication, and smooth order execution.
The Quoting Specialist will report to the Supervisor, Quoting, and will be based on-site at our Las Vegas Showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and competitive quotes utilizing internal tools and supplier input.
- Analyze costs and maintain target margins by coordinating with internal resources and 3rd party partners.
- Respond to inbound customer and sales inquiries via phone and email in a prompt and professional manner.
- Support the full customer order lifecycle, including quote submission, order entry, acknowledgment, and status updates.
- Collaborate with Field Sales, customers, and internal departments to ensure all order and quote information is documented and followed through to completion.
- Generate and process freight quotes and coordinate logistics with appropriate teams.
- Facilitate and support multi-line and program-level quotes as needed.
- Submit, track, and follow up on quote requests in alignment with service level expectations.
- Process payments, allocate inventory, and communicate order updates through internal systems and customer portals.
- Maintain documentation and performance standards in accordance with departmental policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or coursework in business, logistics, or supply chain a plus.
- 2–3 years of experience in a customer-facing or estimating role required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce; experience with CRM and ERP systems preferred.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset.
- Must be able to sit for long periods and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
