Type: Internship (Part-Time/Unpaid)
Availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Flexible hours available) Ongoing internships available for Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter

About Us:
Hon's Honey is a social enterprise dedicated to giving dignity and purpose to women survivors of trauma— addiction, trafficking, generational poverty and abuse. Through the healing power of love and meaningful work, we provide these women the opportunity to work and make handcrafted spa and body products made with beeswax or honey. We believe in healing, second chances and new chapters.

Hon’s Honey is part of The Well, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that supports women through a holistic healing process, including life development programs, free counseling, workshops, and a strong community. Women commit to this process before joining the Hon’s Honey team.

Position Overview:
Hon’s Honey is seeking a motivated and compassionate Business Intern to support our mission. This internship offers hands-on experience in social enterprise operations, systems, and strategy, providing a meaningful opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to our life-changing mission. Hon’s Honey just achieved a year of .5 million in sales and is postured for growth. We are seeking interns with CPG experience, new product development understanding, pricing, etc. In addition, our Workforce Development training provides opportunities for interns seeking to grow in managing people, developing job preparedness courses and provides hands-on opportunities to develop and execute training. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and sales research to identify growth opportunities and target customers (for both retail and wholesale).
  • Assist in scaling sales operations, including order fulfillment and inventory coordination.
  • Assist in analyzing sales data to support pricing, promotions, and strategy development.
  • Assist in researching cost-effective raw materials, packaging, and shipping supplies.
  • Support sourcing and pricing for Marketplace items to improve margins.
  • Contribute to team planning, sales meetings, and community outreach.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Social Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Passion for social impact and empowering women survivors.
  • Trauma-Informed (prefered but not required)
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Squarespace and Square.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Internship Schedule:
Internship opportunities are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We offer flexible hours to accommodate your schedule and internship requirements
