Content Editor Intern

Content Editor Intern

Type: Remote (For School Credit)
Duration: 10–12 weeks (flexible)
Hours: Part-time, ~10–15 hrs/week


Who We Are 

Different Sounds is a record label founded by Alex Vazelakis, former Head of A&R at Ultra Records (Sony Music). We work at the intersection of electronic and indie music, offering creative services for today’s boldest and most authentic disruptors. The label has seen rapid growth and continues to build a roster that pushes culture forward.

What You’ll Do 

Transform raw artist footage into social-first, scroll-stopping content. You’ll be the bridge between filming and publishing, helping artists and the label show up authentically and creatively online:

  • Edit short-form content (TikToks, Reels, Shorts) from raw footage
  • Trim, format, and stylize clips for social, aligning with each artist’s aesthetic
  • Add captions, transitions, effects, and audio as needed
  • Help develop a repeatable visual identity and tone for content across platforms
  • Deliver clean, platform-ready exports with quick turnaround


What We’re Looking For 

  • A short-form content editor who lives on TikTok and Reels
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s program (film, communications, music business, or related)
  • Fluent in Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
  • Creative, collaborative, and comfortable working with raw/DIY footage
  • A fast worker with a good eye for pacing, sound, and viral cues
  • Excited by music, artist branding, and storytelling through video
  • Bonus:
    • Experience working with artists or music-related content
    • Motion graphics of light animation skills
    • Comfortable pitching edit ideas or social content formats
