Versus-X is reopening its highly successful Intern Program that saw several interns go on to secure full-time roles on the Versus-X team.

Versus-X is looking for an enthusiastic video editor to join our talented and experienced team, working remotely from anywhere in the world. We're seeking a creative individual with a passion for video content creation, preferably with interest in gaming, sports, and blockchain technology. This is an ideal position for someone who's studying or just graduated but has demonstrated video editing experience and is looking to gain professional experience quickly. The duration of the internship is 3 months.

Versus-X is the perfect environment for aspiring video editing professionals due to the amount and quality of hands-on experience to be gained. Our team is building a revolutionary skill-based web3 gaming ecosystem focused on high-quality sports games and skill-based wagering. This internship offers valuable experience in the fast-growing sectors of web3 gaming and blockchain technology.

Please note: This internship is unpaid and may not be officially accepted by universities for academic credit. It is best suited for individuals seeking to gain experience in the crypto/web3 industry, build their portfolio, and obtain professional references for their resume.

Responsibilities:

Edit short and medium format videos for social media platforms

Create engaging YouTube and TikTok content

Edit gameplay videos showcasing Versus-X games

Collaborate on creative concepts and push creative boundaries

Work with raw footage to create compelling narratives

Skills and requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience editing videos

Proficiency in video editing software of your choice (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)

Quick and reliable worker with strong time management skills

Not afraid to ask questions and seek feedback

Creative mindset with passion for pushing boundaries and developing new concepts

Able to work from a place with stable internet access

Ability to adapt to agile environments

Proficient English for daily communications with the team

Available for 10-20 hours per week

Not required but a plus:

Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3

Experience with gaming content creation

Understanding of sports gaming or esports communities

Motion graphics and animation skills

Experience with live streaming content
