Regular, Full-Time

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) mission is to inspire curiosity through engaging science learning experiences, foster experimentation and the exchange of ideas, and stimulate informed action. Join our team as the Director of Institutional Giving and be a part of igniting an education transformation at the intersection of science and technology that spreads opportunities across the Northwest!

The Director of Institutional Giving leads the growth and stewardship of OMSI’s  institutional funding portfolio, including private foundations, corporations, public agencies, and other organizational funders, with a goal of generating $2.5 million in unrestricted funds and $2 million in restricted funds for strategic initiatives and campaign resources annually. In  collaboration with the Vice President of Development and development leadership, the Director works to set the strategic direction, metrics, and revenue goals of the Development division; builds the philanthropic pipeline to meet and exceed goals in unrestricted and restricted giving; and creates the systems and processes necessary to achieve sustainable, year-over-year growth in both revenue and donor participation.
