Label Coordinator

Job Description:

The Label Coordinator serves as the second lead strategist and communication link between artists, managers, label partners and internal/international departments, executing and communicating marketing strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives for each assigned project. Label Coordinator reports to the Label Manager at ESCOL Network, Inc.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate for the Label Coordinator position will possess a solid understanding of the opportunities in the digital music marketplace, exceptional communication and organizational skills, an understanding of the operational aspects of digital music distribution - along with passion for Latin music, pop culture and technology and the way they all come together. The position will also represent and promote ESCOL's interests within and outside of the region of Miami, Florida.

  • Manage the creation of marketing/product plans that aligns with the utilization of targets, manage the execution and communication of these plans with all relevant departments within the organization.Operate the day-to-day activities for the label, guiding with strategy, tactics, and technical knowledge as we work to develop our artists and monetize their distributed music and video content
  • Build strong relationships with key players in the genre
  • Knowledge of the LATAM markets are a major plus
  • Serves as the lead strategist and communication link between artists, managers, label partners and internal/international departments, executing and communicating marketing strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives for each assigned project
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with assigned Label Partners acting as the primary point of contact externally to the label and internally representing our labels' interests
  • Work with the teams to strategize on the growth of content on a global level
  • Develop a strategic partnership with the roster to help guide label level distribution strategy
  • Manage label partners' priority release campaign logistics from inception through to analysis, working with other internal departments as necessary
  • Drive product adoption of ESCOL's technology platforms and services across the label roster
  • Implement best practices across all release campaigns and comfortably use internal and external data sources to explain results to artists, labels, and managers to help create action plans from the results
  • Manage assigned labels' physical and digital product logistics and operations, ensuring content is delivered in a timely manner and to required specifications using ESCOL's platforms and systems
  • Manage and oversee internal label and release presentations
  • Liaison with all internal departments including commercial strategy, catalog, engagement, video, operations, insights & analytics, finance and legal to ensure all label partners' business needs are met
  • Provide strategy for product launch timelines, social media best practices, marketing elements and other activities that provide best opportunities for monetization
  • Build and help lead business reviews with priority label partners
  • Strong attention to detail and execution is a must
  • Plan, organize and execute always on artist marketing campaigns and set long-term objectives
  • Design high impact marketing timelines for product releases and artist marketing campaigns
  • Work to ensure the export and positioning of projects in international markets
  • Effectively communicate and manage relationships with artists, managers, partners, media, and the music community

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience within a label, distribution, management, or music company working with labels, managers, and artists
  • Knowledge and passion about music discovery and a fan of music with the ability to represent ESCOL Network, Inc. in the marketplace
  • Must be bilingual Spanish speaking (written and verbal)
  • Strong relationship builder, creative and resourceful at getting to the finish line
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building capability - always with a professional demeanor
  • Articulate in written and oral communication
  • Ability to maintain multiple project timelines with close attention to detail while being accountable and responsive
  • Experience with top digital music services, social media applications, and digital music best practices
  • Experience with digital and physical retail distribution
  • Knowledge in International music business is a plus
