Want to work on building science for Texas? Have a passion for communicating scientific content through a variety of mediums?
As a summer intern, you will generate content for social media, A/B test new content, and review feedback.
We accept interns from a variety of communications backgrounds who have different technical skills. You will be given the opportunity to use your best technical skill (for example video editing) and broaden your current skill set.
Recommended Skills:
Please note, you do not have to possess all of these skills to be successful, though you should know at least one skill deeply… or have a solid collection of skills, broadly.
2D: Generative AI Illustrations, Graphic (Photoshop/Illustrator) and/or UX design
Video/Audio: Podcasts/Radio, Short Films, Editing
Copywriting: Social media posts/commenting, Email writing, Technical article writing
The student will receive mentorship from a team with a history of working in communications (radio/television) with deep technical knowledge of data analytics.
Texas Nebula is a nonprofit, which works as a liason between multiple innovation partners, with different interests and stakes, in order to promote research for Texas.
Texas Nebula invites Texas students from journalism, communications, media relations, science writing, convergence journalism, or broadcast journalism to build scientific awareness.
This opportunity is part time and remote.
