Medical Assistant - Patient Care Associate

Make a difference with precision and interventional psychiatry

We’re looking for an individual who’s excited to make a real impact in mental health care by working with breakthrough treatments for depression and anxiety. This is a medical assistant–level role where you’ll learn how a modern psychiatric practice runs, while supporting our clinical team in delivering advanced, in-office therapies that are changing lives.

You’ll be trained to assist with and administer treatments under the supervision of our attending psychiatrist. Your main responsibility will be providing clinical support to patients receiving therapies like TMS, intranasal and IV ketamine, and SGB (Stellate Ganglion Block). You’ll also interact with patients, help track treatment progress, and assist with office admin tasks as needed.

About the Treatments

  • TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) is an FDA-approved, non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to treat depression, anxiety, and OCD. It’s typically pain-free and done in short sessions.
  • Ketamine therapy includes intranasal esketamine and IV ketamine for patients with treatment-resistant depression.
  • SGB (Stellate Ganglion Block) is an innovative treatment that targets the nervous system and has shown promising results for PTSD and anxiety.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Comfortable following a daily treatment checklist
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Calm and responsive in patient care situations
  • Eager to learn about medical devices and clinical care
  • Able to explain procedures clearly and confidently to patients
  • Proactive and comfortable interacting with people
  • Interested in medicine, neuroscience and psychology!
  • Bonus: Skilled in social media management!—there may be opportunities to support community outreach and awareness efforts online

Minimum Qualifications

  • Health care exposure is Preferred, but not required
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and basic data systems
  • Comfortable with customer service or patient-facing roles

Job Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain and assist with procedures
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Monitor a patient for medical symptoms
  • Help maintain a positive, team-based environment
  • Act courteously and with tact in dealing with patients, visitors and the public
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Follow established treatment and office procedures
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate medical/mechanical devices

Benefits Include

  • On-site training with real patient interaction
  • Hands-on experience with cutting-edge psychiatric treatments
  • Be part of a growing, supportive, and forward-thinking medical team

If you’re looking to be part of something meaningful and modern in mental health care, we’d love to hear from you!
