Manufacturing Statistical Analyst

Purpose
Collect, organize, analyze and present data to the plant leadership team to identify trends and opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the facility. This role supports all the various functions within the plant to drive business key results in safety, quality and EBITDA.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides day to day contact and communications with management team regarding plant metrics such as throughput and downtime
- Responsible for data mining and trending plant data
- Data input for plant operational reporting
- Review, maintain and build spreadsheets and databases as appropriate for data analytical needs
- Identify patterns and trends to determine if processes are in control or out of control
- Preparation of correspondence, reports (internal and external) and other related documents
- Present data findings to team members in a way to support continuous improvement
- Own the linear program model and data sets for the plant
- Coordination with the enterprise Linear Program Manager as appropriate for plant needs

Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in business or accounting
- Three to five years’ experience
- Excellent keyboard skills and 10-key by touch
- Ability to prioritize and work with a great deal of speed and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word and Outlook
- Highly capable in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient at learning data driven software platforms
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated team player that fosters a positive work environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Four year degree in business, accounting or engineering
- Proficient in VBA, NWA Quality Analyst, and Access
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position
