Position Title: Intern, Video & Graphics Production

 

Reports to: Video and Project Workflow Specialist

 

Location: Remote Work (only in the following states: AR, CA, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NE, NH, NY, NJ, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI)

Position Summary: 

Gain hands‑on production experience with Sabin’s Communications team! You’ll create video stories, including attention-grabbing YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels; design engaging graphics for social media; and collaborate with a creative team. You'll refresh website content and make our content more “findable”. You’ll build a real‐world portfolio you’re proud of while learning how professional campaigns come together—from beginning to end—gaining one‑on‑one mentorship and industry connections.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Short-form video editing: cut, caption, and polish videos from our footage library for social channels.
  • Design digital materials related to Sabin’s branding, programs, conferences and events
  • Produce PowerPoint slide presentations 
  • Make website updates in WordPress, add SEO meta tags, alt‑text, and internal links
  • Monitor peer organizations and influencers in global health; collect links and insights for the team
  • Tag and file raw video, photos, and design files, and log interview sound bites into a topic‑based directory so our library stays tidy and searchable
  • Suggest new video formats and trends—test, learn, and share results
  • Other communications related tasks as assigned

 

 

Requirements:

  • Current college student in communications, video production/film, marketing, graphic design, or a related program
  • Comfortable using Canva and at least one basic video editor (CapCut, Riverside.fm, etc.) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Illustrator) experience is a plus
  • Sharp editorial ear & narrative instinct—comfortable combing through hours of raw footage, spotting powerful moments by tone and inflection, and tagging sound bites into topic buckets that inspire new videos
  • Understanding of short‑form platforms and storytelling for mobile
  • Ability to follow and work within existing brand guidelines
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly flexible 
  • Self-starter who enjoys feedback, collaboration, and iteration
  • Bonus: WordPress familiarity, SEO basics
  • An interest in vaccines and global health is preferred
  • Available for 10-15 hours per week during the Fall 2025 semester
  • Writing experience, a plus
