- Steady Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekend/holiday overtime availability as needed.
- Competitive Pay: Start between $20-21/hr, depending on experience, and participate in our 4% annual bonus program.
Main Focus:
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for repackaging, shipping, and receiving of Persulfates and organic peroxides as well as tanker blending.
Accountabilities:
- Understand and work digital scales
- Work safely and clean the area
- Follow Instructions and operate equipment
- Accurate blending of different hazardous chemicals in a Bulk truck
- Utilize lab analytical equipment to test and QC final analysis of bulk tank mixture.
Responsibilities:
- Safe handling of persulfates and Organic Peroxides
- Product changeover and clean-out
- Wearing all required PPE
- Must aid in the management of all persulfate and Organic Peroxide waste
- Must train other employees as required
- Forklift operation
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs while tied off.
- Wrapping and labeling of persulfates
- Participation in safety and procedures development for the site
Requirements:
- Proficient in math
- Forklift Experience required
- Chemical handling experience preferred
- Yard truck experience preferred
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent
- Ability to physically lift 50 lbs
- High School diploma/GED equivalent or verifiable work experience
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Position will require the ability to climb stairs and successfully navigate congested sites without injury
- Have a proactive safety mindset by participating and engaging in all safety activities, including compliance with all rules and regulations
- Must be able to understand verbal and written forms of communication
- Able to work overtime as needed by management
