Analog Design Summer/Fall Co-op

Duration: June/July to December 2026

Responsibilities

 

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Working with experienced engineers to design/develop Analog IC and RFIC for Multi-chip modules
• Designing control circuits with bandgaps, op-amps, regulators, current mirrors, and digital logic. 
• Runing simulations using design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE, etc. 
• Participating and presenting in design reviews.
• Performing lab testing using standard Analog IC test equipment.
• Trouble-shooting and resolving design or technical issues.
• Collaborating with other engineers and technicians.

Required Experience and Skills

 

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD programs
• Commitment for working onsite for 6 months (co-op) - Summer/Fall. 
• Strong desire to learn, grow and make impact.
• Strong career interest in Analog IC design.
• Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in lab using oscilloscopes, waveform generators, power supplies, and other Analog test equipment is highly preferred.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
