Position Summary
We are seeking a relationship-driven Development Coordinator to play a vital role in strengthening the Mission’s brand, fundraising, and donor engagement efforts. This role blends project execution and donor relations to ensure every supporter feels valued, informed, and connected to the impact of their giving.
The Development Coordinator will oversee staff as well as the daily flow of development operations, coordinate events and campaigns, and support cross-departmental initiatives. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with strong organizational skills, able to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, and capable of engaging both evangelical and secular donor audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Departmental Coordination – Execute the annual development operating plan and ensure timely progress toward fundraising goals.
- Cross-Department Collaboration – Work with other departments to ensure unified messaging, data accuracy, and integrated fundraising efforts.
- Brand & Content Oversight – Ensure donor-facing materials reflect the Mission’s brand, messaging, and values.
- Donor Engagement – Build and maintain trust-based relationships with donors through personalized touchpoints, impact storytelling, and thoughtful strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, communications, marketing, business administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in event coordination, campaign management, or project execution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with both evangelical and secular donor audiences.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.
