Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our Business Administrator in day-to-day operations across Human Resources, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). This role requires a high level of attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and eager to contribute to the efficiency of both HR and financial operations. The position is full-time and requires working on-site at our Farmington Hills, MI location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and assist with onboarding, offboarding, and compliance documentation.
- Support Accounts Payable functions by entering invoices and maintaining appropriate records.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks, including submitting information related to claims and tracking claims payments.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all HR and financial records (digital and physical), maintaining organized and secure files.
- Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Administrator, including scheduling, internal communications, and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior administrative experience preferred, ideally with exposure to HR or accounting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experienced and comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) in a professional setting.
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
