Are you a meticulous storyteller with a passion for shaping news into a compelling visual experience? WBRZ-TV, Baton Rouge’s ABC affiliate, is searching for a full-time Editor to join our dynamic news team. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of live television production, where you'll do more than just edit. You'll be using Edius to clip and polish video segments for our newscasts, ensuring a clean and timely delivery. But beyond the editing bay, you'll be an essential part of the action—helping to mic up anchors, preparing the studio, and distributing rundowns before shows begin.

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who thrives in a fast-paced environment. While experience with Edius or similar editing software is preferred, we are committed to training the right candidate. A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn are key, as you'll have the chance to expand your skills by coding shows, shadowing directors, and assisting with control room or studio needs. This full-time position requires flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
