Job highlights

We are seeking a creative Film/Video Production Intern to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role offers hands-on exposure to both videography and video editing, playing a key role in shaping our brand storytelling across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm, storyboard, and script short-form and long-form video content.
  2. Film product showcases, behind-the-scenes content, showroom scenes, and promotional materials.
  3. Edit video content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to deliver polished final cuts.
  4. Assist in content strategy for social media platforms, with attention to trends and platform-specific formats.
  5. Support logistics for shoots—scheduling, lighting, equipment setup/tear-down.
  6. Participate in creative review meetings and adapt edits based on feedback.
  7. Film in showroom at our San Francisco location 1 × weekly (4‑5 hours total)
  8. Shoot both b‑roll and interview‑style video of interior spaces, products, and ambience
  9. Organize, edit, and deliver polished short‑form videos (1–3 minutes), ready for social media and promotional use
  10. Coordinate with our marketing team to plan shoots and storyboard content
  11. Manage footage file organization and deliverables on schedule

Qualifications

  3. Able to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize objectives and switch projects fluidly
  4. Extremely intelligent and ready to learn
  5. Interested in what it takes to run a successful video production firm or in a career as a freelance marketing, video or social media strategist in the SF Bay area
  6. Excellent professional script-writing and storytelling skills
  7. Savvy researcher & Detail-Oriented
  8. Access to own video and sound equipment (editing software as well)
  9. Digital media savvy and experienced with new digital technologies
  10. Creative video and film and photography experience required (must be versed in all aspects of short film creation; pre-production to shooting, editing and post-production
  11. Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  12. Proficiency in video cameras, lighting, audio capture, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  13. A creative eye for composition, narrative pacing, and visual aesthetics.
  14. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  15. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  16. Familiarity or interest in South Asian design, culture, and aesthetic sensibilities is a plus!
